Costume: Initial Ideas For Our Artist

For element one and two we want our artist to appear glamorous and sophisticated whilst still appealing to the current fashions that her target audience will be attracted to. In the first element we want our artist to be wearing a red jumpsuit or dress to contrast with the dark background colour and to catch the light. In the second element, we want her to be wearing something similar but black to contract with the red room and basically reverse element one. 

Element 3 will depend on how our idea develops. We would want her to seem empowered in this element so something like a pantsuit or a jumpsuit could work. I like the idea of having her in red because I think it would compliment the somewhat drab background whether we go to the urban or forest location. However, if we use the red smoke bombs, black would be more effective as not only would we be able to see the artist better but it would be bolder.
