Auditions: Dancers, Part 1

We planned to audition all our dancers on Tuesday the 10th however, there were a couple of people who couldn't come so we decided to hold more the following day. The auditions for the dancers are particularly important because so much of our video relies on them so we needed to be quite strict with who we chose. Below is a video showing snippets from our auditions:

The auditions didn't go quite as well as we'd planned. Although I booked a space for us to hold our auditions, due to rehearsals for other subjects, we were told to find another classroom that we could do our auditions. This threw off the atmosphere and made everyone a bit tense and agitated. However, when we finally found a new space we got started straight away making use of the small space we had as much as possible.

The schedule in which I booked our original audition space:

We had two A2 girls and three A1 girls and we could see a clear divide in the two groups simply in confidence and also ability to adapt the choreography slightly to their strengths. The A1 girls were quite timid and didn't really out all their effort into it largely, I think because they were nervous. The A2s in comparison were perfect.
